Pushing CNN

If you visit this link it will take you to a page at CNN where you can push their story about McKinney winning the nomination higher on their scale. Maybe if enough people give it a “thumbs up” it will actually result in more coverage. Hey, it’s worth a try…

  1. Gregg,

    Thanks for the updates.

    keep ‘em coming.

Did Cynthia and Rosa outline a positive agenda for ballot access in the time remaining?

Are they addressing the collapse of of the Indy bank, and FDIC take over in California this weekend?

The implications for working folks, the middle class?

    Thanks

Any more coverage by cnn wll be negative coverage.

Expect to hear about “cop slapping”, she won’t be on her state ballot and has raised only around 1k in the state; the GP is broke & had to borrow money for its convention: the GP didn’t qualify for matching federal funds & won’t be on many state ballots, etc. etc…….

if you want this kind of “more coverage”, then then contact cnn.

  3. Ronald Hardy says:

We need Independent Media to step up and counter the Negative News Media.

  4. Gregg Jocoy says:

I can appreciate your frustration at the sort of coverage McKinney and the party will get at the hands of the corporate media, but if we are active in our communities and tell our friends and co-workers that we are Greens, they will know that the media has us wrong.

  5. Gregg Jocoy says:

I also think Ron is right. We need to find our way into the tens of thousands of local newspapers, magazines, radio shows, blogs and websites with info and links to and about the Green Party. The “left media” to the extent it exists may or may not cover us, but if we approach “Organic Gardening Digest” and ask if they want to do a story on the organic peach farmer who’s running for County Supervisor in Kentucky, the answer may be “Yes!”

  6. Zeleni says:

Let’s swarm the pro-Hillary websites and let them know that we’ve nominated woman presidential and vice presidential candidates. Wouldn’t it be a stronger signal to vote for two women color rather than an old white man?

  7. Gregg Jocoy says:

I like that idea Zeleni. In fact, I like it even though at first I thought you wrote pro-Military sites, not pro-Hillary sites, but the idea is the same. If we are going to get to 5% we will have to do things that make us uncomfortable, like talking with pro-Hillary and pro-Military types.

Pat LaMarche came to South Carolina to campaign with Marines stationed in one of our military bases. Greens come from all walks of life, and many, most in fact, don’t even know they are green yet. Our responsibility is to show them
