A pause in the action as the Wisconsin Delegation starts a “wave” across the auditorium. It took three starts before the entire room joined in and sent the “Green Wave” back, in slow mo.
I should clarify, they have a “projector problem”, so now there is a chant shout going up: PAINT – THE WHITE HOUSE – GREEN!

Thank you Drew! I can’t believe I forgot my power cord. I’m on a borrowed computer now, I’ll update the post with the state by state totals.
I am at a loss to explain South Carolina’s votes, but I must say that I am VERY disappointed. Since McKinney won 4 votes at our state convention, and the ONLY other person who got ANY support was kat swift, for Mesplay to get a vote and swift not is a direct reversal of what happened at our state convention. True, four were uncommitted, but we did not pass this vote at our state convention. I feel like we got screwed if this vote is accurate. And if it is, why did we get only two votes? We sent two delegates, or said we were going to. If two went we should have had four votes!
OK…I see that Ron corrected the SC total. The accurate total is one for McKinney, one for swift, which would seem to suggest that only one of our delegates actually made it to Chicago, or both made it, but for some reason none of the proxy votes were cast. I’, inclined to think that we only got one delegate to the convention.
Gregg, can I follow you up with a question that I don’t understand. My state, NY, ended up casting the most votes of any for McKinney. Why were the delegate totals from Wisconsin and Maine so low? They were both allotted more delegates than NY was, but they didn’t cast as many votes. Frankly, I’m not complaining since it basically means I was better represented (all NY green voters were), but if I lived in Wisconsin or Maine (especially if I’d voted in their primary/state convention), I’d feel a little cheated.
Let me correct what I said. What I said is true about Maine, but not Wisconsin which wasn’t allotted more delegates than NY. The state that was underrepresented. Illinois is the other less populous state that was originally allotted more delegates than NY, and apparently cast all of them.
This is a quick attempt at an answer: A state can only carry one proxy vote per present delegate. Maine had 9 delegates present, carrying 9 proxy votes (or some such distribution) thus cast 18 votes, but Maine was allocated much more, 44 I think. If they would have sent 22 delegates, they could have cast 44 votes.
Wisconsin was allocated 24 delegates, and we brought 24 delegates, no proxies once everyone showed up.
