Ohio Greens Need Petition Help

“I just got word that the NAACP is leading an effort to bring proportional representation back to Cincinnati for city council elections. Proportional representation means that 10% of voters can elect 10% of seats. They’re in the middle of their petion drive., This is an important part of the Green Party platform, and if anyone can help in the petition drive, please be in touch with local contact Anthony Lorenzo or myself via www.indianagreenparty.org.

    I would suggest helping with the Ohio Green Party’s ballot access drive first. Proportional representation won’t help if a Green Party candidate can’t win more than 0% because the party isn’t recognized by the state. E-mail rhannon@toast.net if you can volunteer.
