Green Party is on the Ballot in Virginia and Tennessee

The SBEs of Virginia and Tennessee confirmed today that the petition drives in those states were successful and the Green Party ticket of McKinney/Clemente will appear on the ballots.  Thanks to everyone who made these drives a success!

We are now guaranteed to be on the ballot in at least 32 states.  Vermont’s petition drive is still on, spearheaded by Virginia’s idefatigable Tom Yager.  We have until the 12th to get 1,000 valid signatures.  Anyone who can help please contact Tom at

    Good luck to Tom and those petitioning to get the Green Party on the ballot in Vermont. Although, we only have 33 ballot lines, we are on a couple of vote rich states that we weren’t on in 2004, specifically Ohio and New York. So that is promising.
