some of all parts offers a big idea
In an earlier post I asked for ideas, big ideas, to move the Green Party and the McKinney/Clemente ticket forward in the last few weeks of campaigning. In reply, Joe Truss stepped up and offered this:
here’s an idea.
create a series of short PSAs for the Green Party, that are positive, accessible, proactive, well framed and informative. provide responses for all the skeptics, challengers, and naysayers.
our hip hop group is working in collaboration with Green Members in Northern California, and the National Party to create the content and then film these PSA clips.
we are looking for help with the responses, help with refining them to create scripts, and a diverse group of people to be on camera presenting our responses.
please contact me, joe truss, member of some of all parts (run, historical moment), to get involved. we need help. not many days left, but we have a final knock out punch.

OK folks…there ya go. Get in touch. Life is not a dress rehearsal, and politics is a full contact sport. Cynthia McKinney and Rosa Clemente have committed themselves to us. Can we expect less from ourselves?

*2. Where’s the green party’s plan (for leading the country i suppose) Key Values are nice, but how do they plan to actualize these things?
*3. What is tangible about the green party? what are they actually successfully doing?
4. What is the green party’s short term and long term goals? why is there not one stated. what are their strategies in different regions, and for different populations of voters?
5. What are the green doing locally? how do i find out about local chapters?
Dispelling Myths and Voting 3rd Party
*7. What about the measurable effect of selecting a democrat or republican. (justices, acts, drug war, etc.)
8. If there are so many 3rd parties, how do you know which to pick?
*9. Why don’t they just form 1 3rd party instead of breaking up?
*10. What about rivalry and competition from other parties, like Nader or Ron Paul?
*11. If I don’t hear about the Green Party, then they must not be strong, or credible.
*12. What happened to the past candidates, why is he not running again?

*16. how do they (green candidates) expect to convince people and influence decisions if they are not the best communicators (im assuming comparing them to trained and polished politicians)?

This is so the idea I have been trying to spread as well.
I will get my camera out. But we need to ask knowledgeable Greens to answer these questions on camera too. I was also thinking to have the average ordinary citizen who is “confused” ASK the questions.
