Election results
I will be webcasting election results via Green Party Watch Radio tonight starting at 7 PM East Coast Time. I will take a break from 9 to 10 PM, and return for a second session from 10 PM to midnight. I will have a chat room set up for questions and for folks to submit information. I hope to bring as many Green candidates as possible onto the program, so I invite any of you with information to call in to the show at (646) 478-3778. Of course, if you don’t have info but just want to shoot the breeze, well, that’s OK too. I can call candidates as well as have them call me, so if you have a candidate you want me to reach out to, send me their number and a time to call and I’ll ring them up. I hope to have both Cynthia McKinney and Rosa Clemente on the show at some point, but I know they will be very busy tonight, so keep your fingers crossed for me.
I live in Winooski, Vermont and voted at around 5:30. I had to do a write-in vote for my presidential candidate as her name was not on the ballot. I voted for McKinney for President as she was the only candidate whom I was able to take seriously and believe. Also, out of all of the candidates, she is the only one I have seen act and vote in a moral and conscientious manner, not selling out her constituents for the sake of party or special interests. I wish she had been able to get on the ballot in every state. Well, I may have been the only Vermonter to vote for her but I do not regret it at all. I wish more people knew about her.
