Cynthia McKinney: headed for Congress again?

In a post at Independent Political Report by Kimberly Wilder she reports that Cynthia McKinney, Green Party Presidential nominee in 2008, may be thinking of running for Congress. Citing a story at Atlanta Progressive News, Wilder reports that McKinney is thinking of a possible run for US House of Representatives with the Green Party in California. In an email sent to supporters McKinney notes that she is glad that supporters are encouraging her to consider another Presidential bid, or a congressional race.

I am particularly pleased that people are willing to explore the possibilities that politics outside the box of two-party conformity can provide,” she writes.

  1. Lou Novak says:

This is very good news. I urge Cynthia to strongly consider a run and am looking forward to supporting and working on her campaign.

  2. PTK says:

Maybe it would be better for her to run for Governor of California.

  3. Michael G says:

Why would anyone want this radical representing them for anything. What does she do besides run her big mouth?
