Howie Hawkins to run in Syracuse, NY
In an article by Walt Shepperd at CnyLink the only question that seems to remain is, which race will he run in?
Hawkins is credited as one of the co-founders of the Green Party in the United States and, according to his Wikipedia article, has run for at least six offices, ranging from city council to US Senate.
Now, according to Shepperd, Hawkins is looking for a possible win.
When I talk to people about running at-Large, they say, “Maybe you can win.” It would be tough. But there would be four candidates running for two seats, and I’m learning more and more how to get the word out, so I think that would be the best shot. At least people would be taking me as the candidate, not just raising issues, but running to win. So that’s kind of where we’re at, we haven’t decided yet, though.
