This is a good idea. As often as possible, our candidates for higher office should be local officeholders. There will always be exceptions- for example, how could the Illinois Greens not go with Rich Whitney in 2010?

We here at Third Party Revolution endorse Dennis Spisak in his candidacy for Governor of Ohio, along with many other third party and independent candidates seeking public offices nationwide, ranging from local to federal levels.

Better start raising money now, Dennis! Takes a lot of money and good organization to get a decent showing or win the governor’s seat in any state.
