Dave, well I do, put the concern I have is seeing a third party changing into what the two major parties, that is changing entities that don't have a definition. But if the GPIL wants to have these candidates, then it's up to them to do so.

And speaking of IL Greens, I am a little concerned about them. I have noticed that there have a been a couple of conservative "greens" running for congress and the state party has done nothing about it.

This is very compelling stuff. Other candidates could learn something from reading Vince's statement. People are very dissatisfied, even angry, with government. We can, and should, take that frustration with corrupt, unresponsive elected officials and channel it into positive, reform-minded Green campaigns. The alternative is to let right-wing demagogues like Glenn Beck steer the disenfranchised into supporting reactionary causes.

I especially like this line: "We may not agree on all the issues, but you will know my opinions were not for sale to the highest bidder." That shows a genuine willingness to reach out to people who aren't normally in the Green fold, but who might vote for a candidate simply because he's honest.

We here at Third Party Revolution endorse Vincent LaMie in his campaign for Illinois State Representative District 105, along with many other third party and independent candidates seeking public offices nationwide, ranging from local to federal levels.

I've met Vince at several ILGP membership meetings. He's definitely a good guy and would be tonic for Illinois government!
