  1. Ron says:

I see there were over 800 votes cast for Rich Whitney for Governor and LeAlan Jones for US Senate despite these races being uncontested. Nice.

  2. PFK says:

There was a statewide increase in the # of Green Party ballots cast in the primary. In 2008, there were 3014 statewide…I estimate we’re over 4,500 this time around. The largest increases were in the 6 county Chicago metro area.

  3. Speaking from a Green POW:

The primary victory of Anthony Williams is unprecedented and uncalled for. On Mr. Williams website, he is pro-guns, anti-choice, and homophobic. I urge every other Green to contact the Nation Green Party and take action against the nomination of Anthony Williams.

  4. Chicago Voter says:

Whats the main objective of the Green party in Illinois 2010 to keep itself established as major party of to win the offices they are competing for?

    What wrong with being pro-gun?

  5. Ron says:

    Some Greens are pro-gun.

  6. Is there a position on gun rights in the GP platform? If there isn’t I can understand why there would be differences on that issue.
