Upcoming Massachusetts Green Party regional conventions

From the Massachusetts Green-Rainbow Party:

Green-Rainbow Party Regional Conventions provide a great opportunity to meet fellow Party members and supporters in your community, share your ideas, discover ways to support action on your key issues by working with others, and to get involved playing an important role in an important, high-profile campaign! This year’s slate of six regional conventions will feature appearances by gubernatorial candidate Jill Stein; Rick Purcell, candidate for Lieutenant Governor; Nat Fortune, running for Auditor of Massachusetts; and other candidates for local and legislative offices.

Read on for details about the regional conventions:

Our conventions serve as intimate forums in which to meet Jill and to hear her unique and inspiring message:

• How we can create local green jobs
• How we can save lives and bring $billions back from war to local needs
• How we can save public education
• How the green energy transformation can improve the economy, health and climate
• How we can create affordable quality health care for all now
• How we can revive our democracy

The regional conventions also provide all party members with the chance to vote for representatives to the GRP State Committee–and, of course, to run for such a position yourself.

And if you’re not yet a member of the GRP, there’s no better way to find out what we’re all about.
