Green candidates file for governor, US Senate in Arizona

The Sierra Vista Herald reports that two Arizona Green Party candidates are among those who have filed for upcoming statewide elections in Arizona. The Greens are Jerry Joslyn of Scottsdale for US Senate and Larry Gist of Tempe for Governor. See the full lineup at the Sierra Vista Herald.

  2. This is especially important that the Green Party have candidates in one of the nation’s most high profile areas in this election cycle. It will be very interesting to see how Green Party candidates in Arizona handle the immigration questions in a productive, constructive way. Offering positive Green Party solutions.

  3. Obviously one hopes the Green Party will put candidates on the ballot in all the states around the Gulf of Mexico this year. Florida, Lousiana, Mississippi…with this BP Oil disaster, Green Party candidates on the ballot in the area would be well positioned to be elected and bring the needed changes to fix the immediate and systemic problems.
