California Green Party meets in Berkeley, discuss plans for 2012
May 12, 2011 in General, State Party News
Every year the Green Party of California meets, usually one to three times. What that means is that Green Party members from the different parts of California get together and talk about whatever party business comes up.
This year, Kent Mesplay announced he will seek the Green Party 2012 Presidential nomination.
Here are some pictures of the event:http://tian.greens.org/California/AlamedaCounty/Berkeley/GPCAMay11/index.html

I attended the SFGP meeting a couple weeks ago and we talked about this state meeting (I see Barry in the pictures!). He said the two main objectives are:
1. Voter Registration
2. Funding.
So I added the CAGP to givv.org: http://givv.org/recipients/green-party-of-california
As well, I pointed them to RockTheVote (online Registration). There is a link at the bottom right on http://greenchange.org – http://www.rockthevote.com/rtv_register.html?ms=indexNoPop
The CAGP website needs to be redesigned with links to both of these up top. Look into http://Givv.org, it is a solid service, makes donating to multiple charities/organizations super easy, and automates it for monthly giving.
With that said, I plan on registering Republican tomorrow to vote for Ron Paul (and will be driving more to register GOP for the Primary). I have no problem (and currently do) give money to the CAGP. I have no problem helping drive voter registration to the CAGP, but at this point, I personally want Cynthia to be the nominee, so I really don’t see value in driving voters to participate in the USGP primary.
Unless you hold an office, or are running for an office, the most “Progressive” move you can make this (and next) year is to register Republican to vote for Ron Paul (if nothing else, to help save up from Romney/Palin/Gingrich/”Bush”).
Ron Paul has the best chance of beating Obama: http://freeindependentsun.com/republic/obama-v-paul-why-ron-paul-is-the-republicans-top-prospect-for-winning-the-presidency-in-2012/ – and Cynthia will do just as good of a job representing the Green Party Nationally as would any other potential candidate.
That’s my “2 cents” (using pre-1983 copper pennies, that is actually worth 4.4 cents).

If you’re supporting MP Ron Paul [Republican], president of the 8th USA Parliament, then join the All Party System’s efforts to recruit Queen Roseanne Barr [Green Tea] for president, because she’d surely split votes off from Obama [Democratic] as an Independent candidate working with all parties including Democratic and Republican.
The great thing about Prime Minister Roseanne Barr [Green Tea], besides the fact that she’s funny, very smart and spiritual (she writes Hebrew), is that she actively supports the USA Parliament’s parliamentary elections which are similar to Israel’s. She’s nominated Cynthia McKinney as Foreign Minister, too.
I was a signer/elector in 2008 for the Ron Paul/Gail Lightfoot [Republican/Libertarian] write-in campaign that Prime Minister Gail Lightfoot [Libertarian] organized, and Ron Paul never even acknowledged her efforts, as far as I know.
(The USA Parliament has three national prime ministers, PM Roseanne Barr [Green Tea], PM Gail Lightfoot [Libertarian] and PM Charles Bruce “CBS” Stewart [Green Libertarian].
This year, Prime Minister Roseanne Barr [Green Tea] has nominated more than 50 names for the USA Parliament’s ballots and Cabinet, including many prominent women economists, entertainers, feminists, environmentalists and other personalities and men too.
Press Minister Christine Blosdale, Treasury Secretary Cathlene Fitts, Chief of Staff Helene Caldicott, to name a few…
In other words, Roseanne Barr is a team player, and we have a team! Thirty-nine full Cabinet Ministers, and 70 Deputy Cabinet Ministers, with plenty of open seats and all names welcomed!
I’m writing about 100-member elected teams, using the Sainte-Lague parliament seat distribution system.
We’ll be expanding to up to 1000 members next year. 1/1001ths of the vote (or .999%) plus one vote, is guarateed to elect the first consecutively ranked 1000 names, with plenty of consecutively ranked names as back-ups.
Yes, the California American Independent Party likes it, and they like solar energy, diversity, all parties and independents working together. Their chair is the USA Parliament’s Spectrum Minister, Nathan Sorenson [Christian Independent].
He wants to adopt the 8th USA Parliament’s voting system to change the largest splinter group in California, with over 320,000 registered voters.
The CA AIP wants to coordinate with the CA Green Party, especially in Monterey County California, where the AIP is already coordinating with the Libertarian Party on a July 4th picnic.
We want to unite the national American Independent, Independent American, Green, Green Tea, Roseannearchist, Constitutional Monarchist, Lessarchist, Democratic, Republican, ALL Parties, independents, voters and no voters under one national chair and one presidential candidate, Queen Roseanne Barr [Green Tea] (and myself as vice president).
As a team, we attract cool people who are team players, and single winner district power grabbers don’t like us, because in single winner districts one person is painted as better than everyone else. Not us though, we’re 100 and 1000 equal units!
If you like the idea, please consider voting for the opposite gender #1, and consecutively alternating genders thereafter, and you may vote for my name too, if you can throw me a tic I’d appreciate it. And vote for your own name too, on our system your name is easily elected as part of the team. Vote online on the link below, if you can figure it out, you copy, mark and email the “eballot”, and it gets posted in the forum.
Consider this a campaign announcement, and feel free to spread the word. It’s the All Party System and Independents, the 8th USA Parliament, the PacificNW Super-state Parliament Election, and Central California Mini-state Parliament Election of 2011. We welcome your name, even though you may not live in the ten states or twelve counties of our elections.
If you wish to participate, and every vote counts with very few (or no) wasted votes, guaranteed. It’s an ultra-conservative system, and we’re for Roseanne Barr for president.
You just write your name in:

Hope you like it!

You’ll love this game then: http://www.erepublik.com/
I actually developed a “game” (http://irl-rpg.com) that is suppose to help people get off World of Warcraft and start doing real life things that actually effect their lives and community. Not that playing games is bad, but when you look at home much time some people put into Fantasy Football, or World of Warcraft, or whatever…you start to wonder what they could accomplish if they worked on actual real-life stuff.
Check it out! If you like it, please buy the book.
As far as my comment goes, I was talking about U.S. Representative Ron Paul from Texas who is running for the Republican Party Nomination for President of the United States. He has repeatedly voted against the Wars overseas, against the War on Drugs, against a private group (or any group) having complete control over our money supply (The Federal Reserve), and has stood up against government secrecy (ALL IN REAL LIFE!). I don’t agree with all his views, but I agree with most of them. Whether or not he can win, or you want him to win, he is the most exposed member of our “movement” toward a rational political discussion in this country. I support moving more in “our direction.” So I support Ron Paul.
Let me know when you are done playing games, because people are dying and an Empire is rising and there are real-life things that can be done about it.
Peace in the Middle East!

Thanks Jack, I checked out givv.org, your book and erepublik. I did like them, and the USA Parliament has many similarities. The 8th USA Parliament’s current president Ron Paul [Republican] does absolutely nothing as president, just like the USA’s president’s current accomplishments in the Erepublik. :)
But we’re trying to change that, and Queen Roseanne Barr [Green Tea] is our sought after leader, because she reciprocates the parliament’s help by voting for Cabinet Ministers, giving votes of confidence, and by nominating new names to the Super-states and Mini-states.
Nominations are like votes of confidence. And I nominate your name, Jack, pending your acceptance.
You should consider trying to coordinate with the “Go Ogle for Vice President in 2012″ campaign, my slogan is “opposite gender #1″, and (consecutively alternating genders thereafter).
I’m also setting up a similar donation system through Marketing Minister David Bell [Independent] of Commonwealth Marketing in Kentucky. I’m no good at stuff like that, and as a Minister, you’d be in charge of such things in your Ministry position with the USA Parliament’s Cabinet.
We’d love to work together and organize a Paul/Barr/Obama debate. Plus, our debates feature all MPs as equals, so with 97 MPs, the time would be equally divided between all of them. For example if the debate time were for two hours and we had 97 MPs and 23 wri-ins/new nominations, each candidate would get two minutes of free speech time.
We’re excited about working with Ron Paul in 2011 and 2012, and we’re also trying to support US Senate candidates from all 33 states that are holding their US Senate elections in 2012.
However, since KY doesn’t hold US Senate elections (where Rand Paul is from, you know), we’re inclined to support soon to be elected Communications Minister Vanessa Moreley [Defender of the Republic] for Congress, who also lives in KY.
If you know NASA Minister Randy Hicks [Green], we’re planning a Cabinet shake-up next week, and he’s being transferred to Health and Human Services Ministry, since he supports single-payer. Current Health Minister Marsha Gold [Info. Not Avail.] doesn’t mind the change as far as I know.
We have plenty of Ministries and other positions available in case you’re interested in this game. I’m the volunteer web page maintainer, and if you’d like, as elected Secretary (one of two) I can elect your name to any Ministry you wish. (NASA Minister?)
Plus, you may be any party/category you wish, so if you switch to Republican no problemo. In the USA Parliament, we’re not connected to real elections, and plus you may even make up your own party/category, and switch parties anytime without penalty.
Hope you like it!

Correction:
“She’s nominated Cynthia McKinney as Foreign Minister, too.”
Cynthia McKinney [Green] will be staying as the 8th USA Parliament’s Communication Minister until further notice, and Jane Violet [Roseannearchist] stays as Foreign Minister as per her request.
If you want day to day updates, follow on Roseanne Barr’s blog site:

It’s an uncensored place where the national 8th USA Parliament can post messages.
