Jill Stein presidential campaign announcement and money bloom today

Medical doctor, community activist and Massachusetts Green-Rainbow Party leader Jill Stein is set to announce her campaign for the Green Party presidential nomination on Monday Oct. 24th at the state house in Boston, MA. Her website at JillStein.org states, “America deserves a a Green New Deal that provides a secure future for everyone and the planet we depend on.”

The Jill Stein for President website has been collecting pledges from supporters for a money bloom scheduled to coincide with the announcement. At last count, almost $8,000 of the $10,000 goal had been pledged.

  1. There been one oft-overlooked ingredient vital to drawing in the entire world into the day-to-day struggles of the Occupy moment: the protesters’ use of LiveStream to televise EVERYTHING. People on the West Coast, and even on the other side of the globe, are witnessing it live. LiveStream actually transports them into Zuccotti Park and Times Square with the protesters, feeling the energy, witnessing police brutality and the supporters’ peaceful MLK-esque response to it.

    If the Green Party wants to reach these protesters and their nationwide/worldwide supporters, you cannot depend on the MSM. The Green Party has the simple affordable technology within its own grasp to gain crucial exposure, and win over new supporters.

    There really should be a LiveStream feed at the State House in Boston today to televise Dr. Stein’s speech. I, personally, want to watch it, but don’t live anywhere near Boston, and I’m sure I speak for MANY.
