Jill Stein: Join the People’s Climate March and NYC Climate Convergence

p Jill SteinFrom Jill Stein and the Green Shadow Cabinet:

Greetings fellow climate justice campaigners,

You may have already heard about what will be the largest climate rally the world has ever seenThe People’s Climate March, taking place in New York City September 21st. There’s a lot more happening on and around that day. I wanted to invite you to the Climate Convergence for People, Planet and Peace over Profit, a paradigm-shifting conference, skill-share and festival starting Friday, September 19th, that the GreenShadow Cabinet is helping to organize. If you can come to NYC, I hope you will attend and march with us in a diverse Convergence contingent, one of the 7 recognized contingents of the People’s Climate March.

The Convergence brings us together across movements and national borders to harness the transformative power we actually have once we begin to collaborate. Indeed, in this era of historic crisis – from climate meltdown to the struggles created by poverty and war – it’s more critical than ever to connect the dots across the turmoil that surrounds us and address the underlying predatory economic and political system driving all of these disasters.
